Obituary for Mapalad R. Jardiniano

Mapalad Ramirez Jardiniano, 77, of Jersey City, NJ, died October 22, 2014, with his family by his side at Jersey City Medical Center. He was born to the late Magdaleno and Leonor Jardiniano, May 29, 1937, in Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines. He married Violeta (nee Tirona) in 1968 and moved to Jersey City with their four children in 1984.
After serving the Philippine Air Force while in the Philippines, he retired as security officer at New Jersey City University. He was a happy man who loved his family above all. He relished his relatives and friends both in the United States and the Philippines. He was also an avid boxing fan and loved to travel the world.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 45 years, Violeta; his children, Jan and his wife Mayet, Janis and her husband Junji, Jerome and his partner Alexandra, and Jelynne and her fiancé Kahlil; his six grandchildren, Isabel, Ciara Emelie, Amalia, Justin, Elena and Kassandra; his siblings, Rosalinda, Tagumpay, Matiyaga, and Pag-Asa; and many in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and lifelong friends.

Family will receive loved ones and friends at the Collins Calhoun Funeral Home in Rutherford, NJ from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Saturday, November 1, 2014. The memorial service will be held from 7:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Funeral will be private.
