Condolence: I will miss Joan Janson very much! Jill\Eric, God knows best, your mother is now at peace in a better place. When I arrived at Star Career Academy in Newark, Joan was the first person to give me a warm welcome. From that day on, we became the best of friends. She shared wonderful stories with me about her grandchild and how much she loved them.

I am going to miss Joan coming in my office sharing success stories about her students and how many she helped to start their culinary career. She took great pride in her work. Joan was an extraordinary women. Your mom will be greatly missed!

Condolence: Joan and I worked together for more than 15 years in the career education industry. At times our careers took different paths...but we always remained connected. Joan will always be a dear friend and the best of associates. A professional to the core, she always went above and beyond. As a friend, it was always warm and uplifting to have brunch and talk family, travel, the arts and cooking...even on weekends. I will always remember you. I miss you...fair winds.

Condolence: Joan worked with me at Star Career Academy.
She was always there to lend a helping hand and "teach" those who were willing to learn. She was very proud to help students change their lives one at a time. Whether it was a resume, tutoring or life skills, Joan was there. I really looked to Joan Janson as a mentor, friend and mother figure. Thanks for being a part of my life Joan.
May God Bless you and your family.

Condolence: Joan and I were best friends for over 30 years. We laughed and cried together. We traveled together and she taught me to be independent traveling alone. She was the first one to have a party and invite all the girls. Her door was always open. I know because I slept there many a times.
She was so proud of her kids, Eric & Jill and grand kids, they were a constant joy in her life. I will miss Joan everyday with her advise, her laughter and her joy. My heart goes out to her family at this sad, sad time. Love you Joan.
