Jean (nee Voorman) Segers, 86, of Rutherford passed away at home on Monday March 30th, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born in Paterson to William and Susan Voorman. She grew up in Paterson and was a 1940 graduate of Eastside High School. Jean married her husband, the late Arthur Segers who passed away in 2000. They resided in Rutherford where they raised their four childen. Jean was employed by Washington School in Rutherford for 26 years as their Secretary until she retired. Her greatest happiness and joy was her family, being a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother.
She is predeceased by her son Thomas (1995). Jean will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Arthur Segers and his wife Nancy, Lynda Schmeding, Patricia Kavet, her 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
