Joanne Elizabeth Buell, 72, a long time resident of Rutherford, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, May 22nd, 2015.
She was born to Joseph and Helen Soroka. Joanne was a Parishioner of Grace Episcopal Church in Rutherford, a Past President and member of the Ladies Auxiliary Rutherford Fire Dept. and Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 109.
She had a large growing family which was most important to her, a mother of 5, a grandmother of 7 and a great- grandmother, too.
Joanne is predeceased by her husband Robert Buell, (1986). She is survived by her children; Scott and his wife Jo Ellen, Kim Smolka, Elizabeth Buell, Robert and his wife Regina, Tommy and his wife Karin, her grandchildren;
Robert, Joseph, Daniel, John, Lara, Alex, Nicole and her great- grand daughter Leilani Rosario.


Funeral on Wednesday 9am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 10am Prayer Service in Grace Episcopal Church, 128 West Passaic Ave., Rutherford.
Interment in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus and Century Road, Paramus.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4pm to 9 pm.
