Stanley  C  Dembowski
Stanley Chester Dembowski, 88, of Rutherford, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 6, 2015.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Steve and Jozefa Dembowski. As his life progressed, he settled in Rutherford, NJ where he was a long time resident.
Stanley was a Quality Control Supervisor for Walter Kidde, Inc. in Belleville beginning in 1953 where he remained for over 30 years. Then in 1983 he joined Firomatic, Inc. in Wayne, NJ for 10 years before retiring in 1993.
He was a proud WWII Veteran and served in the US Navy and later re-enlisted in the US Air Force. While serving in the Air Force, he was a running back for their football team. He was an active parishioner of St. Michael’s the Archangel RC Church in Lyndhurst, and is a member of the Bergen County Hall Of Fame. He was a sports fan, liked crossword puzzles, fishing and watching pro wrestling on TV. He took great pride in seeing his grandchildren succeed in their endeavors.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Maria (nee Ferrari) his children Stephanie L. Dembowski, Stephen G. his wife Gina, and his beloved grandchildren Courtney, Amanda and Jake. He was a devoted brother to the late Thaddeus and his late wife Mary, a beloved uncle to Ted Jr., Timothy and Cheryl Ann.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday August 12th. Friends are asked to arrive 10:00am in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Avenue Rutherford, followed by an 11:00am Mass in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Lyndhurst. Entombment in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, August 11 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.

** To honor the dedicated Service of Mr. Dembowski in the United States Military, the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home will display the US Air Force flag under the American
flag on August 11th and 12th.**
