Thomas, 102, of Rutherford, passed away at home on Sunday, May 15th, 2016. He was born in 1913 to Joseph and Barbara Lanza in NYC. Thomas was employed with Met Life as an Insurance Agent in Rutherford for 30 years before retiring in 1990. He was married for 60 years to his wife, the late Jean (nee Zybura) 2000. Together they raised 4 children in Rutherford, where Thomas remained for the remainder of his life.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his son Guy Lanza and wife Kathy, Carol (nee Lanza) Pforte and husband Fred, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and daughter-in-law Joyce Lanza. He is predeceased by his son Thomas Lanza (2010) and daughter Barbara Snyder (2005)
