Douglas Boyle, 76, of Rutherford, passed away Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015. He was born in Liverpool, England to James & Eleanor Boyle. Douglas proudly served in the British Merchant Marines and he was employed with Ben Bensons Steak House in NYC before retiring in 1994. He was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed the Washington Redskins, the Boston Celtics, the NY Yankees, the NJ Devils & the Everton Football Club. He was also a member of the Post Stroke Support Group in Saddle Brook.

Douglas is predeceased by his wife Sylvia (nee Witter) 2001 and his daughter Michele Boyle(1969.) He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Nicole Boyle of South Brunswick, his son David Boyle & wife Siovanna of Lyndhurst, his grandson James, his sister, Elsie Ellis & brother, Edward Boyle. He is predeceased by his siblings Dolly and James.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 3 to 7pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
