Obituary for Trudy Belpanno
Trudy Belpanno (nee Schmidt) 80, of Ridgefield Park, NJ formerly of Queens, NY passed on January 8, 2016 with her caring grandson Christopher by her side. Trudy was born in Traustadt, Germany in 1935 to Wilhelm Schmidt and Matilda (nee Sehm).
She lived most of her life in Queens, NY before moving to Ridgefield Park, NJ. Trudy was a Receptionist and Bookkeeper for the Italian Charities in Queens for 35 years and retiring in 2000.
She loved to travel, and did, all over the world. She especially loved River Cruses. In her younger days she enjoyed playing Tennis.
Trudy is survived by her grandson Christopher Gibbins and is predeceased by her loving daughter Barbara (Gibbins) Belpanno who died in 1999.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday Jan. 13, 2016 at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home 19 Lincoln Avenue Rutherford, NJ from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a prayer service at Noon.
Interment Linden Hill United Methodist Cemetery 323 Woodward Ave. Ridgewood, NY.
