Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the Nissen family. You are all my second cousins, although I only saw you as little children. I spent many vacations with your mother and your Aunt Marilyn when they were teenagers. Your mother lent me my first lipstick when I was eight. I knew your parents before they married and have photos in my albums. I found out about your mother’s passing when I was searching for her address. I wanted to tell her how grateful I was to her parents. Your grandmother, my Aunt Mary, opened my eyes to something that changed my life. Your grandfather, my Uncle Walter introduced me to his baseball team and the Irish bar ....I had to sit on the curb with an ice cream cone and promise not to tell Aunt Mary. You all come from such a loving family and my prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I will pray for her...and wish I had gotten to know you. Looking at the photos, your Mother has a likeness to her Aunt Lucy...my mother...and my Aunt Betty. God bless all of our family....near and far.
