FASOULETOS, Marylou C. (Jacovino), 63, on June 6, 2016 of Rutherford, NJ. Marylou was born July 10, 1952 in Queens, NY. She was raised in Rutherford, NJ where she met and married her soulmate and the love of her life, Frank Fasouletos. For 38 years until his recent passing, Marylou and Frank built a beautiful life together, doting on their family and summering at the Jersey shore. Throughout her life, Marylou wore many hats, as a nurse and teacher at St. Mary's in Rutherford, Queen of Peace in North Arlington, and St. Peter's in Belleville. However her most cherished roles were those of wife and mother. She was a great storyteller, cook, and relished her role as "Nana" to granddaughters Lacey and Lia. She spent her life taking the very best care of her loved ones, and when the time came for her family to take care of her, God's plan was for her to be with Frank, passing six months after him. Marylou is survived by her son Michael and wife Alison of Pompton Lakes, son Christopher and wife Karen of Mahwah, daughter Connie of Rutherford, and adoring granddaughters, Lacey and Lia Fasouletos. She leaves a long lasting legacy that will extend well beyond her life.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9th, 9:30am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
