Obituary for Neftali G. ""JR" junior" Colon, Jr
Neftali G.Colon, Jr., 55 of East Rutherford on July 14th, 2016.
He was born in New York, NY to Neftali G. Colon, Sr. and Laura Colon.
He was employed by the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC for 33 years as Security Supervisor.
Neftali is survived by his loving parents, Neftali G.Colon, Sr. and Laura (nee Soto) Colon.
Neftali was the beloved father of Nicholas Colon, Daniel Colon, Taylor Colon, Jordan Colon, he treasured his grandchildren, Peyton Scurti, Anthony Scurti, his
siblings, Joann Colon, Anthony Colon, Jennifer Colon and his former wives, Karen Colon and Kimberly Colon. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Most important to Neftali was spending time with his family.
Family will receive friends Monday 3-5pm and 7-9pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, all are asked to gather 9:30am in Funeral Home followed by 10:30am Prayer Service, Fr. Mike Kreder, officiating.
Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
