James "Jim" Tighe, 62, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away suddenly on Monday October 31st, 2016. He was born to Christopher & Anne (nee Polaski) Tighe in NYC.
James was a life long resident of Rutherford where he and his wife Alice lived for many years. Together they had 7 children. He loved the Holidays and enjoyed decorating his former home on Sylvan Avenue which he had received an award for. James was a Diesel Mechanic by trade for heavy duty trucking. He was also the head of Maintenance for the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin.
James will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Alice (nee Winch) and his loving children; Vivian, James Jr., John, Joni, Robert, Thomas, William, , his grandchildren; Kayla, Valerie, Sydney, Sara and Tanner.

Funeral on Saturday 11/5 at 9am from the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford for 10am Mass of Christian Liturgy in the Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford.
Interment to follow in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.

Family will receive friends Thursday, 11/3 from 7-9pm and Friday, 11/4 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm.
