Condolence: Mr. Heller built a wonderful music program in Rutherford. I will always remember his passion and dedication to music and to teaching children to appreciate music (me included!). I remember the Summer Music School and the Summer night concerts in the band shell. Rutherford is blessed to have had Mr. Heller as music director. I pray for Peace and Comfort for his family.

Condolence: My deepest condolences are extended to Ray's family as well as the current Community Band musicians. As a former student, I know I am far from alone in feeling the imprint of music in my life forevermore after participating in RHS Band and the Community Band. Ray didn't just put hours into his students - he put his heart into them. He helped me prepare for auditions afterschool without hesitation, and took us to all sorts of musical competitions and experiences. I hope he gets a great group of musicians to conduct up in the sky...
